Our expert instructors will work with you to develop a personalized lesson plan that challenges and inspires you, helping you refine your technique and achieve your musical goals.
Our advanced guitar lessons are for those who want a university-level education in music. You'll learn advanced music theory concepts, including chord theory, harmony, and composition techniques, that will expand your understanding of music and take your playing to the next level. Our expert instructors will challenge and guide you to develop a unique sound and style that reflects your musical goals and aspirations.
Your Mentor
Hi, my name is Dylan Pinkerton and I’m the founder of YOU Music Mentorship. For me, teaching up-and-coming musicians is more than just telling them how to play the guitar, it’s about building their confidence and supporting them to explore their own creativity, while providing the foundational skills which will help them achieve their musical goals.
With 16 years of experience playing guitar and over a decade working in the music industry as a touring performer, songwriter, and educator, I have developed a broad knowledge of skills that inform my teaching, including a a degree in contemporary Music from Southern Cross University.
I offer lessons to all ages and abilities from beginner to advanced on both acoustic guitar and electric guitar. I specialise in Pop, Folk, Celtic, Rock, Blues, Jazz, RnB, Country, Finger Style, Travis Picking and know my way around most genres in-between.
